Iran says it will enter talks with the US only under equal and respectful conditions and without any prejudice. Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast told Fars News Agency on Sunday that Iran has never announced it wants to cut off relations with the US. The spokesman criticized the US policy of exerting pressure noting the US imposes unilateral sanctions on Iran in addition to the UN Security Council sanctions. Several Western countries allege that Iran is working on nuclear weapons programme but Iran claims that its nuclear program is peaceful and completely in accordance with the International Atomic Energy Agency's rules.
