Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) last night claimed that they attacked Israel's Mossad spy headquarters in Iraq's semi-autonomous Kurdistan region.
''
'' The state media reported that the Guards also struck in Syria against the Islamic State. Ballistic missiles were used to destroy the espionage centre as well as anti-Iranian terrorist gatherings in the region. The Guards described the strike as a response to the recent evil acts of the Zionist regime in martyring IRGC and resistance commanders.
''
''The Kurdistan government's security council said in a statement that at least four civilians were killed and six injured in the strikes. The strikes came amid concerns about the escalation of a conflict that has spread through West Asia since the war between Israel and the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas began on October 7, last year.
