Iran has begun the mass-production of its new medium-range anti-aircraft missile from today. <br/><br/>According to Iranian news agency ILNA, this was announced by country’s Defence Minister Ahmad Vahid during its launching ceremony in Tehran. <br/><br/>Without elaborating its actual range, he claimed that the missile named ‘Mersad " could destroy modern planes in low and medium altitudes. <br/><br/>He added that the system is highly dynamic, capable of combat in electronic warfare and to be linked with other radar and air defence systems.<br/>
