The second edition of the International Premier Tennis League (IPTL) began at Kobe in Japan today. Indian Aces will meet Japan Warriors at 4 O'clock in the afternoon Indian Standard Time. Indian Aces comprise Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna along with Rafael Nadal and 4 other players. Leander Paes is in Japan Warriors alongside Maria Sharapova, Kei Nishikori and Marat Safin among others. There are no other Indians in the tournament. Indian Aces, Philippine Mavericks, Singapore Slammers and UAE Royals had participated in the inaugural season last year. Meanwhile, match between Singapore Slammers and UAE Royals is in progress. The nearly three-week long tournament will be contested by five teams in Asia.
