Senior IPS officer Karnal Singh has been assigned as the Director of Enforcement Directorate for a period of three months.<br/><br/>Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Wednesday gave its approval in this regard. In a brief order last night, the Department of Personnel said that Mr Singh has been assigned additional charge of the post of Enforcement Director till appointment of a regular incumbent.<br/><br/>He is currently serving as Special Director in Centre Region of Enforcement Directorate.<br/><br/>Mr Singh will replace Rajan S Katoch whose tenure was till 31st of October this year.
