The Government has informed Lok Sabha that India Post Payment Bank (IPPB), through its 650 branches, provided services in all the districts through 1.38 lakh post offices and access points. <br />''<br />''In a written reply Minister of State for Communication, Devusinh Chauhan said that the Government has approved the revision of project outlay for India Post Payment Bank by 820 crore rupees taking the total to 2,255 crore rupees against the earlier approved outlay of 1,435 crore rupees to enable the bank to meet regulatory requirements. The Minister also informed that India Post Payment Bank is a scheduled payment bank owned by the Government and was established in 2018, covering 631 districts in the country with 650 branches in one go.<br />''<br />''<br />''<br />
