IPL4: Mumbai Indians take on Rajasthan Royals today

In Indian Premier League cricket, Mumbai Indians will clash with Rajasthan Royals on Friday at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The match will begin at 8 PM. A win for Sachin Tendulkar's Mumbai will help them climb to the top of the points table and will assure a seat in the play-off stage. On the other hand, Shane Warne led Rajasthan, who are already out of this IPL-4 race, will look to regain their lost pride with a triumph in their penultimate match on Friday. Last time when both the teams met this tournament, Rajasthan defeated Mumbai by 7 wickets. At present, Mumbai Indians are on the 4th position with 16 points from 12 games while Rajasthan Royals have played 13 matches and are at the 7th spot with 11 points. In Thursday's encounter, Kolkata Knight Riders breezed past Pune Warriors India with a superb 7-wicket victory at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
