IPL4: KKR to lock horns with Pune Warriors in Navi Mumbai

In the Indian Premier League, Kolkata Knight Riders will today lock horns with Pune Warriors India at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. The match will begin at 8 in the evening. A win for Gautam Gambhir's Kolkata today will guarantee them a place in the play-offs. On the other hand, Pune will have nothing to lose in this contest as they are already out of the tournament. Today will be the first time that Sourav Ganguly, who is Pune's latest inclusion, will play opposite Kolkata, his earlier club. Ganguly had played the first three seasons of the IPL for the Kolkata Knight Riders. Yesterday, Mahendra Singh Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings moved at the top of the table defeating Kochi Tuskers Kerala by 11 runs. Chennai have qualified to the play-off stage. Kochi ended their first IPL campaign settling on the 6th position with 12 points in their kitty.
