N. Srinivasan's fate as president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India hangs in balance as the Supreme Court has adjourned the IPL 2013 corruption case until Friday. Srinivasan, who is reportedly seeking re-election as Board chief, is among the 13 names being probed by the Justice Mukul Mudgal panel in IPL 2013 Betting and Spot-Fixing Scam.
The Mudgal panel submitted its final report to the Supreme Court on November 3. The judges said they were yet to read the report and were in no mood to share its content. The two-member bench said it will decide on Friday which part of the probe report will be made public.
Lawyers representing BCCI, Srinivasan and petitioners Cricket Association of Bihar wanted the judges to read the report so that they could argue the case.
