IPL spot-fixing case: Sreesanth, Ankeet, 17 others get bail

Cricketers S Sreesanth and Ankeet Chavan have been granted bail by a Delhi court in the IPL spot-fixing case. The court also granted bail to 17 other accused, in the case including 14 bookies. The court observed that there is no reason for believing that the accused are guilty under MCOCA at this stage. Delhi Police Commissioner Neeraj Kumar said, they will examine the order before deciding future course of action.Earlier, the Board of Control for Cricket in India, the BCCI, suspended Rajasthan Royals co-owner Raj Kundra for his involvement in betting in IPL matches, pending inquiry.
