IPL: Royal Challengers Bangalore qualifies for Champions League Twenty20

With this win, Royal Challengers not only secured a place in September's lucrative Champions League Twenty20 but also earned a sweet revenge over Deccan for their defeat in the final of the last edition of the tournament in South Africa. Royal Challengers picked up the third finisher's prize worth 1.75 crore rupees with this victory, while Deccan Chargers took home 1.25 crore rupees. It was their bowlers which did it for the Royal Challengers Bangalore as the Deccan Chargers were bundled out for the lowest score of IPL Season-3 with all the bowlers chipping in with creditable performances. Choosing to bat first on winning the toss, the Deccan Chargers batting collapsed like a pack of cards and were all out for 82 in 18.3 overs. Chasing a victory target of 83 runs, Royal Challengers made 86 for one in just 13.5 overs.
