IPL: Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Sun Risers Hyderabad by 14 runs

In IPL cricket, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated table-toppers Sun Risers Hyderabad by 14 runs at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru last night.

Chasing a target of 219 runs, Sun Risers Hyderabad made 204 runs for 3 in stipulated 20 overs. 

Earlier put into bat, AB de Villiers's 69 off 39 balls and Moeen Ali's 65 off 34 balls helped Bangalore to post a huge total of 218 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. 

Kane Williamson scored 82 off 42 balls while Manish Pandey contributed 62 off 38 balls for Hyderabad. Rashid Khan took 3 wickets for Hyderabad. 

The victory also kept alive chances of Royal Challengers Bangalore to enter the playoff. Tomorrow, 2nd placed Chennai Super Kings will take on bottom-placed Delhi Daredevils at the Feroz Shah Kotla grounds in Delhi at 8 p.m.
