In IPL Cricket, chasing a huge victory target of 209 runs set by Chennai Super Kings,  Delhi Capitals were 48/2 in (5.0) overs at the D Y Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai when reports last came in.

Put in to bat first, Chennai posted a massive total of 208 runs riding on Devon Conway's quick nock of 87 and Ruturaj Gaikwad's 41 runs. For Delhi, Anrich Nortje took three while Khaleel Ahmed picked up two wickets.
Earlier, Delhi won the toss and chose to bowl.

In another match today, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad  by 67 runs at  the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai.  Opting to bat first, Royal Challengers Bangalore posted 192 runs for 3 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. In reply Sunrisers Hyderabad were bundled out for 125 runs in 19.2 overs.
