IPL: RCB defeat DD by 6 wickets to reach play-offs

In IPL T-20 Cricket, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Delhi Daredevils by 6 wickets last night to book a place in the play-offs. Sent in to bat at Raipur, Delhi made 138 for 8, with Quinton de Kock top scoring with 60. In reply, skipper Virat Kohli continued his exceptional form as he anchored Bangalore to victory with a brilliant half-century. He made an unbeaten 54 to take his record of most number of runs scored in a single IPL to 919 which includes 4 centuries and 6 half centuries. Earlier in the day, Kolkata Knight Riders beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 22 runs to enter the play-offs. The four play-offs berths have, now, been decided. In the first Qualifier, Gujarat Lions will take on Bangalore tomorrow. The winner will advance to the Final. However, the losing team will have another chance to make it to the title clash as, in the second Qualifier, it will face the winners of the Eliminator which will be played between Hyderabad and Kolkata on Wednesday. The second Qualifier will be played on Friday, with the Final slated to be held on Sunday at Bangalore.
