IPL: RCB beat Mumbai Indians by 7 wkts; Raj Royals defeat KKR by 34 runs

Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Mumbai Indians by seven wickets in their Indian Premier League cricket match in Mumbai last night. Unheralded pacer R Vinay Kumar produced a sensational three-wicket burst when dismissed Ambati Rayudu Sachin, Tendulkar and Dwayne Bravo in one over and he was ably supported by Dale Steyn in restricting Mumbai Indians to 151 for 9 after the home side elected to bat at the Brabourne Stadium. Chasing the modest target, Royal Challangers Bangalore romped home with five balls to spare .With the win, Royal Challangers Bangalore are now on top of IPL III table with six points from four matches. Earlier, Rajasthan Royals defeated the Kolkata Knight Riders by 34 runs in Indian Premier League Cricket at Ahmedabad. Thrilled after registering their first victory in the Indian Premier League III, Rajasthan Royals captain Shane Warne said everything went according to plans. After slumping to three successive defeats, Rajasthan Royals pocketed their first win of the Twenty20 event.
