The player draft for next year's 9th Indian Premier League cricket tournament is being held today in Mumbai. Mahendra Singh Dhoni was first to be picked, as he went to the newly added Pune. Rajkot, another new franchise, picked Suresh Raina.Both, Dhoni and Raina were part of the Chennai Super Kings which was suspended for two years along with Rajasthan Royals in the wake of the Justice RM Lodha committee's report on the 2013 IPL spot-fixing scandal.Pune has also picked R. Ashwin, Ajinkya Rahane, Faf Du Plesses and Aussie Steven Smith, while Rajkot has got Ravinder Jadeja, New Zealand's Brendon McCullum, Aussie James Faulkner and Dwayne Bravo.
