In IPL Cricket, Mumbai Indians have set a target of 219 runs before Gujarat Titans at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Put to bat Mumbai scored 218 losing 5 wickets in sitpulated 20 overs. In reply, Gujarat Titans were 12 for 2 in 2.3 overs when reports last came in.
 
With their previous victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai Indians climbed up to third spot in the points table, however, they slipped to fourth spot after yesterday's win over Rajasthan Royals.
