IPL: Mumbai Indians defeat Kings Eleven by 23 runs

In the IPL match in Mumbai today, Mumbai Indians defeated Kings Eleven by 23 runs and regained the top spot in the IPL table. Batting first, half centuries by Skipper Sachin Tendulkar and Amabati Rayudu helped the Mumbai team to make a competitive 159 for five in 20 overs. The winners then restricted the Punjab team to 136 for eight, despite a valiant effort from Shaun Marsh who scored 61. Mumbai Indians are now at the table with 12 points from eight games. The Punjab team are in the bottom half of the table in the ten-team competition, with six points from seven matches.
