IPL: KKR beat Sunrisers Hyderabad; MI take on Gujarat Lions

In today's first match of the IPL Cricket, Kolkata Knight Riders beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by Eight wickets.Chasing a target of 143, KKR reached home comfortably with ten balls to spare. Continuing with his top form KKR captain Gautam Gambhir again anchored his team's splendid batting run and remained not out on 90 off 60 balls. He was ably supported by his opening partner Robin Uthappa, who hit 38 off 30 balls.Earlier, opting to bat, Sunrisers Hyderabad posted 142 for seven. Eoin Morgan's 51and Naman Ojha's 37 were the main contribution to the team's relatively low score, which the KKR eased past, to register their second victory. The Hyderabad team has now lost both their matches.KKR made three changes from the playing XI of their last match with Morne Morkel, Shakib-ul-Hasan and Sunil Narine coming in for Brad Hogg, John Hastings and Colin Munro. It will be Narine's first match of this season.Hyderabad, meanwhile, made just one change with Barinder Sran replacing injured Ashish Nehra.Today's second match is being played between defending Champions Mumbai Indians and debutant Gujarat Lions,who are on top with two straight wins. Gujarat Lions won the toss and elected to field first.
