In IPL, Kolkata Knight Riders powered by Yusuf Pathan registered an eight wicket win over Rising Pune Supergiants in a rain-affected game at Eden Gardens last night.Chasing a 66-run target in 9 overs which was established via Duckworth-Lewis method, in-form Yusuf Pathan smashed 37 off just 18 balls to help Kolkata win with 4 overs to spare.Pune had earlier struggled as they made 103 for 6 when rain stopped play in 18th over for a little more than two hours.With this win Kolkata moves to second spot in the 8-team standings. Pune, who are out of the competition, remained at the bottom of the table.Earlier in the day, Royal Challengers Bangalore crushed Gujarat Lions by a whopping 144 runs in a match played in Bengaluru.In today's first match, Kings Eleven Punjab will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in Mohali at 4 PM while in the second match Mumbai Indians will lock horns with Delhi Daredevils at Vishakhapatnam from 8 PM onwards.
