The final of the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event saw estranged partners Paes and Bhupathi pitted against each other. The Indo-Czech duo of Paes and Dlouhy got past the Indo-Belarussian combination of Mahesh Bhupathi and Max Mirnyi in straight sets 6-2, 7-5. It is the maiden ATP doubles' title of the season for the third-seeded Paes and Dlouhy.
