In IPL Cricket,  Punjab Kings beat Kolkata Knight Riders by seven runs on Duckworth Lewis method after heavy rain stopped the play in Mohali. Put into bat Punjab Kings made 191 for 5 in 20 overs.  KKR were146 for7 in 16 overs Kolkata at that moment and required 46 to win in four overs as Punjab stood 7 runs ahead as per the DLS method.
 
In the second match between  Lucknow Super Giants and  Delhi Capitals is underway in Lucknow. Lucknow Super Giants were 143 for 4 in 16.4 overs against Delhi capitals when reports last came in. Earlier Delhi Capitals won the toss and opted to field.
