In the IPL Cricket, Lucknow Super Giants  were 42 for 4 in 9 overs before Gujarat Titans at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai. Earlier Gujarat Titans Captain Hardik Pandya  won the toss and opted to bowl first.Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans are the two new entrants in the 10-team Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 edition.

Gujarat Titans is led by Hardik Pandya in the tournament While KL Rahul is the skipper of Lucknow Super Giants. Gujarat Titans picked up Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya and Rashid Khan ahead of the auctions whereas Lucknow Super Giants bought KL Rahul and Ravi Bishnoi before the mega auction.
