In IPL Cricket, chasing a victory target of 153 runs set by Rajasthan Royals, Kolkata Knight Riders were 13 for none in 2.2 overs at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai when the reports last came in.
 
Earlier, put in to bat, Rajasthan made 152 runs for the loss of five wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
 
Yesterday, Chennai Super Kings beat Sun Risers Hyderabad by 13 runs at MCA Stadium in Pune and Lucknow Super Giants defeated Delhi Capitals by six runs at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Chennai Super Kings opening batter Ruturaj Gaikwad equalled the record of legendary Sachin Tendulkar by becoming the joint-fastest Indian to score 1,000 runs in the history of the Indian Premier League. Gaikwad reached the feat in match number 46 of the ongoing IPL. Batter smashed pacer Marco Jansen for a six on the first ball of the sixth over to reach the 1,000-run mark in IPL.
