IPL cricket: KKR beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 7 wickets

In an IPL Cricket match at Hyderabad, Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets last night. Kolkata Knight Riders made 146 for 3 in 19.4 overs in their reply against the Sunrisers, who scored 142 for eight in 20 overs. Kolkata remain in fourth position but have taken their tally to 12 points while Sunrisers remained in sixth with eight points.Earlier in another match, Royal Challengers Bangalore pulled off a five-wicket victory over Chennai Super Kings in a thrilling encounter at Ranchi yesterday. Chasing 139 for a win, Bangalore overhauled the target with one ball to spare in a low-scoring match that went down the wire. Two matches are scheduled for today in the IPL tournament. In the first fixture at Ahmedabad, Rajasthan Royals will take on Mumbai Indians at 4 p.m. In the second encounter, Delhi Daredevils will meet Kings Eleven Punjab in Delhi at 8 p.m.
