In IPL Cricket, Kings Eleven Punjab won the toss and elected to field against Kolkata Knight Riders in the first Qualifier today. The losing team of the Kolkata-Punjab fixture will have another chance of making to the finals, as in the second Qualifier on Friday, it will take on the winner of the Eliminator between Chennai Super Kings and defending champions Mumbai Indians. The Eliminator will take place at 8 this evening in Mumbai. However, if rain again plays spoilsport today in the Punjab-Kolkata match, the Kings Eleven will make it to the finals as it had finished the league stage at the top.The final match is slated to take place in Bangalore on Sunday.
