In IPL Cricket, Gujarat Titans defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by eight runs at Dr. D. Y. Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Choose to bat first, Titans posted 156 for nine wickets. In reply KKR scored 148 runs for eight in the stipulated 20 overs.  

In another match Royal Challengers Bangalore were 47  for 4 in 8.2 overs when reports last came in, against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Earlier Hyderabad won the toss and elected to field.
