IPL Cricket: CSK beat RR by seven runs

Chennai Super Kings defeated Rajasthan Royals by seven runs in a close finish in Dubai last night. Chasing a target of 141 runs, Rajasthan Royals were bowled out for 133 runs in 19.5 overs. Ravindra Jadeja who scored 36 runs and took four wickets for Chennai Super Kings was adjudged Man of the Match. Opener Dwayne Smith smashed 50 runs off just 28 deliveries including three sixes and six fours.But Rajasthan Royals bowlers struck back claiming wickets at regular intervals at the other end. Ravindra Jadeja then steadied the innings with a strokeful 36. Chennai Super Kings made 140 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Rajasthan Royals were dismissed cheaply going in for big hits. Dhawal Kulkarni made 27 while Rajat Bhatia added 23 runs. Jadeja did the maximum damage taking four wickets with his off breaks fo Chennai Super Kings In today's match, Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in Sharjah.
