IPL: Chennai Super Kings give Chargers 143 as target to get berth in the final

Chennai Super Kings scored 142 runs for 7 wickets in Mumbai on Thursday. Earlier CSK captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat against Deccan Chargers in the second semifinal of the Indian Premier League. The best piece of news for the Super Kings was the return to form of skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni who played a brilliant match-winning knock of 54 not out in his inimitable fashion against Kings XI Punjab. The Chennai team struggled to put an effective support pacer to Bollinger with Alblie Morkel, L Balaji, Sudeep Tyagi and Manpreet Gony not deliver good. With their strength at almost equal level, both teams look forward to one or two special innings or bowling spells to clinch the match and book a berth in the April 25 final.
