KKR were made to chase a revised target of 118 runs in 12 overs but they could score only 101 runs.Earlier Sunrisers Hyderabad, made 177 for the loss of 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Skipper David Warner struck 91 off 55 balls while Shikhar Dhawan made 54 off 46 balls. The opener duo scored 130 runs for the first wicket.
