IPL 8: Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Kings XI Punjab by 20 runs; CSK to lock horns with KKR

In IPL Cricket, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Kings Eleven Punjab by 20 runs at Mohali last night. It was Punjab's 5th defeat in the 7 games they have played and they are at the bottom of the points table, while for Hyderabad, it was their third victory in 7 matches. Sent in to bat, Hyderabad posted 150 for 6 in the stipulated 20 overs. Skipper and opener David Warner top scored with 58. Axar Patel and Mitchell Johnson bagged 2 wickets each to restrict Hyderabad to 150. In reply, Punjab managed to make just 130 in 20 overs courtesy a brilliant 3-wicket haul by Kiwi pacer Trent Boult. He claimed 3 wickets and conceded just 19 runs in 4 overs to be adjudged man of the match. Today, Chennai Super Kings will lock horns with Kolkata Knight Riders. The match will be played in Chennai at 8 PM.
