A hurricane knock from Yusuf Pathan, who blasted 72 off 22 balls, catapulted Kolkata Knight Riders to the second-place in the points table as the hosts hammered Sunrisers Hyderabad by four wickets in their IPL match at Kolkata last night.Pathan made the fastest fifty in 15 balls in IPL history, as KKR knocked off a 161-run target in 14.2 overs when they were required to overhaul it in 15.2 to make it to top-two. Pathan enthralled the packed Eden Gardens crowd with his exceptional knock which featured seven sixes and five fours. Leading run-getter Robin Uthappa made 41 and Gautam Gambhir's 28 set up the chase before Yusuf's smash.Put in to bat, Sunrisers Hyderabad made 160 for seven with the help of Shikhar Dhawan 29 , Naman Ojha 26 and skipper Darren Sammy's 29.The result pushed Chennai Super Kings to third place and KKR will now clash with table toppers Kings XI Punjab in the first Qualifier on May 27 at Eden Gardens.In another match Chennai Super Kings cruised to a comfortable eight-wicket victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore to strengthen their second place in the seventh edition of the IPL, in Bangalore.In today's fixures in the IPL, Kings XI Punjab will take on Delhi Daredevils at Mohali from 4 PM while Mumbai Indians clash with Rajasthan Royals at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai at 8 evening.
