IPL 6: Sunrisers beat Daredevils by 3 wickets

Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Delhi Daredevils by 3 wickets, in a league match of the IPL Twenty-20 cricket tournament, at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi last night. This was Delhi's fourth defeat of the tournament, in as many games. Delhi scored 114 for 8 in the stipulated 20 overs, after opting to bat first, with Kedar Jadhav top scoring for the hosts. He made 30. For Hyderabad, Dale Steyn, Ishant Sharma and Thisara Perera, each bagged the maximum of 2 wickets. Needing 115 for victory, Hyderabad surpassed the target with 4 balls to spare and with 3 wickets in hand. Skipper Kumara Sangakkara was the highest scorer with 28. Delhi's Amit Mishra was adjudged man of the match for his all round performance. He was economical with the ball bagging one wicket, and he also guided his team to victory, with a well-made 16, at the end. In today's fixtures, Mumbai Indians will take on Pune Warriors in Mumbai at 4 PM, while Chennai Super Kings will clash with Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai at 8 in the evening.
