Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Deccan Chargers by 5 wickets in a league match of the IPL Twenty-20 cricket tournament at the M Chinnaswamy Stadim in Bangalore last night. Put into bat, Deccan amassed a formidable 181 for 2 in the stipulated 20 overs, with Shikhar Dhawan top scoring with a brilliant 73 not out. In reply, Bangalore overhauled the target with 7 balls to spare. Tillakaratne Dilshan top scored with 71, but it was the quickfire heroics from AB De Villiers, that saw Bangalore reach the target with ease. De Villiers was adjudged man of the match.Earlier, in the other match, Mumbai Indians beat Chennai Super Kings by 2 wickets.Today, Delhi Daredevils will take on Kolkata Knight Riders at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi at 8 in the evening.
