Rajasthan Royals defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 59 runs in a league match of the IPL Twenty-20 cricket tournament at Bangalore last night. Rajasthan Royals elected to bat first and scored a mammoth 195 for 2 in the stipulated 20 overs. Opener Ajinkhya Rahane was the star of the show yet again for Rajasthan as he amassed his maiden IPL century off just 60 balls. Rahane scored an unbeaten 103, while Owaiz Shah also chipped in with a handy 60. Chasing a victory target of 196, Royal Challengers Bangalore were dismissed for 136 in 19.5 overs. Rahane was adjudged man of the match. In the other match played yesterday, Kings Eleven Punjab edged past Kolkata Knight Riders by 2 runs at Kolkata. Chasing a victory target of 134 set by Punjab, Kolkata managed to make 132 in the allotted 20 overs. Today, Mumbai Indians will take on Delhi Daredevils at Mumbai.
