IPL-5: Mumbai Indians to take on CSK in elimination match

Mumbai Indians will today clash with Chennai Super Kings in the Elimination match of the fifth edition of the Indian Premier League Twenty-20 cricket tournament at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. The match will begin at 8 in the evening. The winner of the today's match will not advance to the finals, but will have to face Delhi Daredevils in the second and final qualifier, scheduled for 25th of May at Chennai. The winner of the second qualifier will then make it to the finals and clash with Kolkata Knight Riders for the title.In the first qualifier last night, Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Delhi Daredevils by 18 runs at Pune, storming into the finals of the competition. Opting to bat first, Kolkata posted 162 for 4 in the alloted 20 overs, courtesy a superb cameo at the end from Yusuf Pathan and Laxmi Shukla.Pathan scored an unbeaten 40, while Shukla made 24 not out. Chasing 163, Delhi could just make 144 for 8 in the alloted 20 overs. For Kolkata, Sunil Narine and Jacques Kallis bagged two wickets each. Yusuf Pathan was adjudged man of the match. This is the first time Kolkata has found a place in the finals of the IPL.The final match of the tournament will be played on 27th of May at Chennai.
