IPL-5: KKR & Deccan Chargers match abandoned due to rain last night

The Indian Premier League Cricket match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Deccan Chargers at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata was abandoned last night without a ball being bowled due to heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorm. Earlier in the first match in Pune , Delhi Daredevils defeated Pune Warriors by eight wickets. Delhi surpassed the victory target of 147 by making 148 for two in 16 overs. Skipper Virender Sehwag scored 87 off a mere 48 balls. With this victory, Delhi have maintained their top position in the current edition of the IPL tournament with five wins and two defeats. In today's encounters, Kings Eleven Punjab will take on Mumbai Indians in Mohali at 4 P.M. In the second fixture, Royal Challengers Bangalore will face Chennai Super Kings in Bangalore at 8 P.M.
