Wayne Parnell claimed three wickets for 35. In reply, Pune Warriors scored 151 for six in 18.5 overs. B Hodge claimed two wickets for 14 runs for the warriors. Earlier, Kings XI Punjab caused the first upset of the on-going IPL tournament. At Mohali, they beat defending champions Chennai Super Kings by six wickets. Set to score 189 runs for a win, the Punjab team made 193 for four in 19.1 overs. Little known Mumbaikar Paul Valthaty stole the limelight with a blistering unbeaten 120 off 63 deliveries and was declared Man of the Match.
