IPL-4: Pune Warriors beat Kochi Tuskers; Kings XI Punjab upsets CSK

In the IPL, Pune Warriors beat Kochi Tuskers Kerala, by four wickets at the D Y Patil Stadium in Mumbai yesterday. Kochi Tuskers Kerala made 148 for eight in 20 overs with Ravindra Jadeja scoring 47. Wayne Parnell claimed three wickets for 35. In reply, Pune Warriors scored 151 for six in 18.5 overs. B Hodge claimed two wickets for 14 runs for the warriors. Earlier, Kings XI Punjab caused the first upset of the on-going IPL tournament. At Mohali, they beat defending champions Chennai Super Kings by six wickets. Set to score 189 runs for a win, the Punjab team made 193 for four in 19.1 overs. Little known Mumbaikar Paul Valthaty stole the limelight with a blistering unbeaten 120 off 63 deliveries and was declared Man of the Match.
