IPL 2023: Mumbai Indians set target of 172 runs for Royal Challengers Bangalore

Mumbai Indians have set a target of 172 runs for Royal Challengers Bangalore in Bengaluru. Put into bat, Mumbai Indians posted 171 for 7 in stipulated 20 overs. With unbeaten knock of 84 runs in 46 balls, Tilak Varma was the highest scorer for Mumbai Indians.  

In reply, Royal Challengers Bangalore were 45 for no loss of wickets in 5 overs when reports last came in.

Earlier in the other match of the day, Rajasthan Royals defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 72 runs in Hyderabad. Put in to bat, Rajasthan scored 203 for 5 in stipulated 20 overs. Sanju Samson with knock of 55 runs while Jos Buttler and Yashaswi Jaiswal with contribution of 54 runs each, helped Rajasthan pile up a big score.

Chasing a victory target of 204 runs, Sunrisers Hyderabad posted 131 for 8 in stipulated 20 overs.

Sunrisers Hyderabad had won the toss and opted to field.
