In IPL Cricket, Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Daredevils by 14 runs at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai tonight. Sent in to bat, Mumbai Indians scored 142 for 8 against Delhi Daredevils in stipulated 20 overs. Chasing a taget of 143, Delhi Daredevils managed to score only 128 runs for 7 in 20 overs. Half century of Chris Morris went in vein as Delhi lost 6 wickets in just 7 overs. For Mumbai, Mitchell McClenaghan took 3 wickets for 24 runs and Jos Buttler contributed 28 off 18 balls. Delhi Daredevil bowlers Amit Mishra and Pat Cummins picked up 2 wickets each. Mumbai Indians consolidated their position at the top with sixth win in a row. In another match, Rising Pune Supergiants beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 6 wickets in Pune. Chasing a victory target of 177 runs, the Pune team scored 179 runs for 4 wickets in their stipulated 20 overs. For Pune team, R A Tripathi hit half century scoring 59. M S Dhoni remained not out on 61.
