In IPL Cricket, Delhi Daredevils defeated Kings XI Punjab by 51 runs at the Firoz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi tonight. After winning the toss, Delhi Daredevils decided to bat first and posted a respectable total of 188 runs for 6 in stipulated 20 overs. Sam Billings scored 55 off 40 balls and Corey Anderson contributed 39 off 22 balls for Delhi. In reply, Kings XI Punjab managed to score only 137 for 9 in 20 overs. Axar Patel's brilliant 44 off 29 balls was not enough for Punjab as they lose wickets at regular intervals. For Delhi, Chris Morris grabbed three wickets for 23 runs while Shahbaz Nedeem and Pat Cummins took 2 wickets each. In another IPL match, Kolkata Knight Riders have beaten Sunrisers Hyderabad by a comfortable margin of 17 runs at Eden Gardens in Kolkata today. Put in to bat first, Kolkata Knight Riders made 172 for 6 in 20 overs. Robin Uthappa made 68 runs and was declared player of the match.Following a target of 173 runs to win, Sunrisers Hyderabad could score only 155 runs losing 6 wickets in stipulated 20 overs.
