Royal Challengers Bangalore began their IPL campaign on a rousing note defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad by 45 runs in Bengaluru last night. Put into bat, Royal Challengers lost the indomitable Chris Gayle in the second over but the blistering partnership for the second wicket between skipper Virat Kohli 75 and AB de Villiers 82 helped the local side amass 227 for four.In reply, Sunrisers Hyderabad were able to score 182 runs for loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. For Sunrisers, David Warner was top scorer with 58 runs. In today's encounter, Kolkata Knight Riders will take on Mumbai Indians at Eden Gardens in Kolkata at 8 PM.
