IPL 2016: Mumbai Indians crush KKR by six wickets

In IPL Cricket, defending champions Mumbai Indians defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 6 wickets at Mumbai last night. Sent in to bat, riding on skipper Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa's 69-run opening wicket stand, Kolkata posted 174 for 5. Gambhir scored 59, his 3rd half century of the tournament. Uthappa made 36.In reply, yet another captain's knock by Rohit Sharma and end-of-innings fireworks by Keiron Pollard helped Mumbai surpass the target with 2 overs to spare. Rohit made a 49-ball 68 not out, his 4th fifty, while Pollard scored an unbeaten 51 off just 17 balls. Rohit was adjudged man of the match.Today, Rising Pune Supergiants will face table-toppers Gujarat Lions at Pune. Gujarat had won the last game between the two by 7 wickets.
