Batting first, Kolkata made 164 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs riding on opener Robin Uttappa's 49 ball 70. Chasing the target of 165, the Punjab team could make only 157 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the stipulated overs. Andre Russel was adjudged the man of the match for his four wicket match haul. For Punjab Glenn Maxwell was the top scorer with 68 runs.
