In IPL Cricket, the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals was called off last night due to heavy downpour in Bengaluru. Sent in to bat, Bangalore scored a formidable 200 for 7 in the alloted 20 overs. AB DeVilliers top scored with 57. But, it was the end-of-innings cameo by Sarfaraz Khan, a 21-ball 45, that helped Bangalore reach the 200-mark. However, rain played spoilsport after Bangalore's innings and the match was called off, with both teams sharing a point each.Today, Kolkata Knight Riders will take on the Chennai Super Kings at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The match will begin at 8 PM.Meanwhile, BCCI has barred West Indian spinner Sunil Narine, who plays for Kolkata, from bowling off-spinners in all matches organised by it, including the IPL. A BCCI release said, Narine underwent a biomechanical analysis in Chennai after being reported for a suspected illegal action during the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Visakhapatnam on the 22nd of this month. It said, after reviewing the footage of the game and analysis in Chennai, it was decided to ban the West Indian's off-spinners. He can, however, bowl his other variations – the knuckle ball and the quicker straight ball.Narine was earlier banned from bowling after he was reported ahead of last year's Champions League T-20 final.BCCI has also announced a revised schedule of the play-offs of the ongoing IPL. The first qualifier will be held in Mumbai on the 19th of next month, while the second qualifier will now be played in Ranchi on the 22nd.The final will be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on the 24th, with a reserve day kept the next day.
