Chasing the target of 172 runs, Knight Riders could score 166 for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Yusuf Pathan's late 52 off 37 went in vain as Mumbai Indians held their nerves till the end to defeat Kolkata Knight Riders and keep their play-offs hope alive. Shakib al Hasan, who rejoined the Knight Riders camp, delivered with both bat and ball. Bowling his left-arm spin, he returned figures of 4 wickets for 22 runs, before hitting a quickfire 23 runs off 15 balls in the run-chase. For Mumbai, Hardik Pandya topscored 61 runs and was adjudged man of the match. Lasith Malinga, Mitchell McClenaghan, R Vinay Kumar, Harbhajan Singh, Jagadeesha Suchith and Kieron Pollard picked up one wicket each.In today fixture, Sunrisers Hyderabad will face Royal Challengers Bangalore in Hyderabad. The match will begin at 8 in the evening.
