The first qualifier of the play-off stage of IPL cricket tournament will be played in Mumbai tomorrow between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. The encounter will begin at the Wankhede Stadium at 8 p.m. At the conclusion of the round-robin league phase of the IPL yesterday, the Chennai team emerged at the top in the eight-team competition with 18 points. The Mumbai side finished second with 16 points.The Eliminator fixture between third-placed Royal Challengers Bangalore and fourth-placed Rajasthan Royals will be held in Pune on Wednesday. The Second Qualifier match between the losing team of the first Qualifier and the winning side of the Eliminator will be played in Ranchi, on May 22. The final is slated to be held at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on May 24 with a Reserve Day kept the next day.
