In IPL Cricket, Kings Eleven Punjab defeated Mumbai Indians by 18 runs at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai last night. Sent in to bat, Punjab compiled 177 runs for 5 riding on a flying start by openers Virender Sehwag and Murali Vijay, followed by skipper George Bailey's unbeaten 61 off just 32 balls.In reply, Mumbai could not recuperate from the 6 early wickets which they lost at the score of just 59. Harbhajan Singh, however, slammed a 24-ball 64 to give Mumbai a chance, but the target proved a little too much as the hosts managed to make 159 falling short by 18 runs. Mitchell Johnson, Axar Patel and Anureet Singh bagged 2 wickets each for Punjab. Bailey was adjudged man of the match.Earlier, in another match, Rajasthan Royals beat Delhi Daredevils by 3 wickets at Delhi.Today, Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru at 8 PM.
