The international Press Institute, (IPI) Vienna has strongly condemned terming it as brutal attack on the office of The Week Magazine in Mumbai on 19th of this month. The IPI, a global organisation of Editors and Media executives has demanded immediate and efective action against the mob which allegedly ransacked the office and assualted several employees of the Malayala Manorama and the Week.

The IPI has also written a letter in this regard to Home Minister P. Chidambaram and Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithivraj Chavan demanding action against the perpetrators of the attack.
