The President of the International Olympic Committee Jacques Rogge is hosting a special meeting on illegal betting and match fixing in sport in Switzerland later today. Representatives from the sports federations, governments and the betting industry as well as the international police agency, INTERPOL are attending the meeting. It is believed that the betting industry, worth billions of dollars a year, is run by mafia crime syndicates.
